#AnArchiveOfNoticing is an ongoing collection of images, photographed in the living spaces of the artist. The photographs capture both the banality and the beauty of the everyday, and highlight the complex inter-relationships between the personal, the social, and the political.

Exploring the relationship between the staged and the framed, #AnArchiveOfNoticing resists conventional notions of the staged image by focusing only on images which are captured in the moment without conscious planning or construction. The images are, however, invariably framed by both the camera lens, and language; through titles which often self-consciously reflect on wider geo-political events, the nature of photography, and language itself.

The production of the series becomes in itself a practice of presence, awareness, and connection in the everyday. The images form an expanding and evolving archive that can be drawn upon, reconfigured, and re-contextualised.
